UVM Bikes! is a student run bicycle co-operative at the University of Vermont. We are dedicated to increasing the accessibility of bicycles to the UVM community, and teaching folks the skills they need to confidently maintain and repair their bikes.
The UVM Bikes! shop is located at 86 S Williams St. The shop space is free to use for anyone affiliated with the University of Vermont (students, faculty, & staff). We have all the tools and small parts you’ll need for any common bike repairs.
We stock an abundance of common parts — inner-tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, cable housing, and chain lube — and carry a limited supply of additional parts and accessories, such as tires and locks. We also have a large selection of well-loved used parts laying around. All new parts and accessories are available for purchase at affordable prices.
We also offer affordable rental bikes to UVM students for a rate of 30$ per semester. Bikes are rented on a first-come first-serve basis at the beginning of Fall semester. Rental bikes are repurposed, recycled, and revived bikes that have been given new life by our team of dedicated volunteers.
