History:
We started when the Men's Varsity Team was cut in 2006, and two former swimmers founded the club, Brad Smith and Denny Madigan. The Club was very small its first three years, but with only four swimmers representing UVM in 2007, we managed to finish third in the nation at the Annual ASAU Club National Championships out swimming 18 other schools. We competed in the ASAU Club Nationals in 2009 with both men and women's team.
Since then, the team has grown to a team of over 50 swimmers who work out and compete in an atmosphere that encourages individual development and maintenance of swimming skills.
Thanks so much to all the swimmers that make this club possible! Last year was a good year of strong swimming and fun road trips. Below is a mix of clips from our home meets it the past, enjoy!
League
We compete in the Collegiate Club Swimming league. Our governing body is US Masters Swimming.
