Minority Association for Premedical Students

Our purpose of MAPS-UVM would be to: a.) connect underrepresented students in the medical field to internship opportunities, b.)provide scholarship essay-writing workshops, c.)enhance and facilitate on-campus networking, d.) organize de-stress events and off-campus field trips, e.) provide standardize testing preparation, f.) further professional development through shadowing opportunities, g.) serve as a bridge medium for research/volunteer opportunities, h.) enhance development of individual identities within the medical field through mentoring support groups.
